Generally, geothermal heat pumps are used in radiant floor climate control systems. Mamy is the heart of the installation, capable of providing hot or cold energy to the environment and, at the same time, heating domestic hot water to a high temperature.

Depending on needs, Mamy can directly heat the domestic hot water contained in the tank or function as a “heat reservoir” to feed the emitters at a high temperature regime, and provide domestic hot water. Mamy uses the “Genius System” control system, protected by international patent. Genius is the intelligence of the system that manages the needs of the installation in a fully automatic way.
The user has the possibility of using Mamy throughout the year: to heat environments and domestic hot water during the winter period; to cool environments and heat domestic hot water during the summer period; and to only heat domestic hot water during the intermediate seasons.
Mamy heat pumps are powered solely by electrical energy and use natural energy sources such as water or the ground itself, in the geothermal version.
Water Version
Water-condensed machines are able to use water from aquifers or wells to extract heat. This option is extremely efficient both from the point of view of the necessary spaces, as it allows easy installation indoors, and from the point of view of consumption, which is considerably reduced compared to traditional installations.
Geothermal Version
Also in this series, the geothermal version is available, designed to harness the heat of the ground by means of geothermal probes. This energy is then transmitted through water, which constitutes the exchange fluid. They can operate even with rigorously low outside temperatures.
Safety and Reliability
Mamy is a heat pump that runs on electrical energy, does not use fossil fuels, does not produce combustion gas, and therefore does not need exhaust chimneys. Thanks to the presence of a completely sealed refrigeration section, periodic maintenance is not normally necessary as in boiler installations. As there is no presence of fuels, the levels of environmental safety are very high. Installation times and costs are drastically reduced because Mamy contains, integrated inside, the pumping units, the regulation and safety devices. The completely removable access panel allows convenient access to all internal components, allowing easy maintenance.
Priority for Domestic Hot Water
In winter operation, Genius prioritizes the heating of domestic hot water, quickly heating the thermal storage tank.
Subsequently, it manages the thermal power provided by Mamy, using it largely to heat the environment and partly to raise the temperature of the thermal storage tank.
Thanks to the use of a particular refrigerant gas subcooling device, it is possible to achieve high temperature levels in the thermal accumulation without affecting the high performance of Mamy.
In summer operation, thanks to the recovery of condensation heat, the heating of domestic hot water is totally free, and the heating of domestic hot water is also guaranteed when the environment does not need cooling thanks to the automatic control of the inversion of the operating cycle as needed.

The sanitary elements are connected directly to the hydraulic connections of the heat exchanger heated to high temperature by Mamy.
The same occurs with radiant floor installations, which can be connected directly to the zone manifold of the installation. The regulation system allows dynamic control of the temperature according to the variation of the external temperature.
It is also possible to couple with additional heat sources such as solar thermal, managed directly from the machine’s regulation device. The emitting elements of the bathrooms can be fed at a high temperature regime in autonomy from the radiant installation. In cooling operation.
Mamy allows connection to a dehumidifier, which is necessary for humidity control in the environment. Mamy uses the inexhaustible energy provided by the earth mass as a means of heat transfer to serve domestic comfort.
The use of geothermal probes allows high and constant performance in any period of the year. Being closed systems, the environmental impact is practically zero.

Heating by radiant panels:
This is the most widespread traditional installation, which uses water at temperatures of 50°C and can only be used for heat. Mamy offers the possibility of completely replacing the boiler, also providing the advantage of domestic hot water.
Radiant panel installation:
This is the most innovative option, which offers winter heating and air conditioning in a single installation, after installing a dehumidification system for summer operation. Given the considerable exchange surface, it is sufficient to use heating water around 35°C.
Fan coil installation:
These are the most technologically advanced installations and are able to guarantee optimal performance, both in heat and cold operation. Heat and fresh air are transmitted to the environment through the air flow moved by the fan installed in the hydronic terminal.
